Safari

(Fibretip)

This an old image (1984) which I'm submitting to Illustration Friday for their challenge - Safari.

Earlier in the week I spent several hours making a multi-layered coloured version in Photoshop. The file proved to be too big for Illustration Friday and I gradually reduced the size. Inevitably along the way the large file got lost and now there's no way of returning it to it's larger size. Here it is in its reduced form:

[And as I now find I still can't upload my offering to Illustration Friday, it won't be there at all. Stuff it]

You've got to watch out for those Kettles. Lovely drawing, Harry, with lots of rich detail.

It's amazing what could be achieved in the moments between office case work. But I'm sure you know that.
